About Kapelovision

Kapelovision™ is a multi-faceted mega-media meta-conglomeration. From 1996 to 2006, Kapelovision™ produced nearly two hundred episodes of the highly influential experimental TV show Threee Geniuses, as well as more than a dozen episodes of the minimalistic sitcom Kapelovision (no relation).

In 2009, Kapelovision released its first feature, Threee Geniuses: The Re-Death of Psychedelia (currently streaming on Night Flight Plus) The film was praised as “perhaps the most challenging and inventive structuralist video art of the new millennium.” (LA Weekly)

The second feature film that Kapelovision™ produced was the wildly successful and award-winning Triple Fisher: The Lethal Lolitas of Long Island, described as a “Rashomon-like retelling of a story which didn’t really need to be told in the first place” (SF Weekly) that was described in the pages of The Wall Street Journal as “a subversive mash-up that unspools like a Lifetime movie fever dream, with its labyrinth of duplicating lurid set-pieces taking on the tone of a noirish nightmare, reaching a frenzied schizo climax that would make Brian De Palma proud.” (Triple Fisher is distributed by the American Genre Film Archive (AGFA.) Kapelovision™ has just completed the highly anticipated final two installments of the Triple Fisher Trilogy” – “Triple Fisher 2: Quadruple Fisher and Triple Fisher 3: Triptych Fisher in 3D. The sequels will soon be playing at a theater near you (depending on where you live).
