About Kapelovision
Kapelovision™ is a multi-faceted multi-media meta-conglomeration. From 1996 to 2006, Kapelovision™ produced nearly two hundred episodes of the highly influential experimental TV shows “Threee Geniuses” and “Kapelovision.” In 2009, Kapelovision released its first feature, “Threee Geniuses: The Re-Death of Psychedelia” praised by the LA Weekly as “perhaps the most challenging and inventive structuralist video art of the new millennium.”
Kapelovision’s™ second feature was the wildly successful “Triple Fisher: The Lethal Lolitas of Long Island,” a “Rashomon-like retelling of a story which didn’t really need to be told in the first place” (SF Weekly) which was described in the pages of the Wall Street Journal as “a subversive mash-up that unspools like a Lifetime movie fever dream, with its labyrinth of duplicating lurid set-pieces taking on the tone of a noirish nightmare, reaching a frenzied schizo climax that would make Brian De Palma proud.”
Currently, Kapelovision™ is working on “Triple Fisher 2: Quadruple Fisher,” the highly anticipated sequel to “Triple Fisher.” In addition, Kapelovision™ has many top-secret projects in the works, including a Western, a Rock Opera, and a 48 hour film. Stay tuned….
